Care for your whole journey.

From trying to conceive to the postpartum period. From hope and expectation to uncertainty and loss. Care with time, knowledge and attention to what you need.

Every journey deserves the best care.

KOMPAS is currently in development

KOMPAS Midwifery Care is not yet an active practice. I am currently completing further training while gradually developing KOMPAS. This website offers an introduction to the vision and care KOMPAS aims to provide in the future.

How can I support you?

KOMPAS will provide personal midwifery care at home in Mol and the surrounding area. As an independent midwife, I aim to support families at home during pregnancy and the postpartum period, with space for your story, questions and individual needs.

Also when there is no “pink cloud”.

Not every journey follows the path you hoped for.

Fertility problems, loss, a difficult pregnancy, a traumatic birth, prematurity, a vulnerable start or lost expectations can have a profound impact.

Your story deserves time, recognition and good care then too.

Neurodivergence deserves care that is tailored to you.

Pregnancy, birth and parenthood can feel especially intense when you experience sensory input strongly, need predictability or process communication differently.

Through my work as a practice-oriented educational specialist, I have professional experience supporting neurodivergent people. Neurodivergence is also very present in my personal life, and I am sensitive to sensory input myself.

Clear communication, respect for boundaries, attention to sensory needs and finding together what works for you.

You do not have to fit into my way of working. Together we find care that fits you.

Behind the midwife is a personal story too.

My choice to become a midwife comes from more than an interest in birth. My own experiences with fertility, loss, parenthood and neurodivergence have shaped the way I look at care.

Not because my story is the same as yours, but because I know how important it is to make room for difficult and unexpected experiences too.
